Spitfire taken at Elvington Air Museum, York

  1. Hi Paul. My late husbands hobby was anything to do with planes, the older the better. When I lived in UK I was dragged around sometimes willingly, sometimes not , to the many Airshows up and down the Country. My favourites were always the Red Arrows brilliant display but I always felt a moment of pride and a lump in my throat when the three old war planes did a fly past. The Spitfire was there and a Hurricane but can´t sadly remember the name ofother one.
Thank you Paul for taking me back to happy days and happy memories.

    1. I'm really pleased one of my photos evoked some nice memories for you. Thanks for the nice comments. Lorraine says the die u asked about yesterday is a Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One. Means nothing to me but I'm sure it makes perfect sense to u!

  2. Beautiful. Love the contrast of the blue skye and the browns of the aircraft.
