This is a macro of a Migrant Hawker dragonfly taken at Hassacarr Nature Reserve, Dunnington, York. I entered it for the Panasonic UK Photographer of the Year 2013 competition and won!

This is my entry for the Panasonic Lumix UK photo competition for February 2013. The subject is 'Close up abstract'. These are screws shot on a slightly longer exposure whilst moving green and red reflective card around the screws.

Some waterdrop photography done in my kitchen using green and purple coloured card reflecting the flash.
this one got published in a Panasonic supplementary magazine that came with the Digital Photrapher magazine in 2013

This is a macro of some wet leaf veins taken in Museum Gardens, York. I thought it made quite a good abstract shot.

A series of autumn shots taken during a walk in Hagg Wood, Dunnington, York

A 'creeping' tree off Common Road, Dunnington, York taken in 2012. Sadly it has since been felled.

I worked in Scarborough for one of my shifts and when driving back to York I came across this poppy field in East Heslerton, Malton, North Yorkshire. The church is St Andrew's Church

This field on a summers day caught my eye on a training run on 'Route 66' from Dunnington to Stamford Bridge, York. When I got home, I went back on my bike with the camera.

We were on holiday in North Wales and visited Whistling Sands near Aberdaren. I went for a short walk with the camera and came across this view. It's taken with a filter on long exposure to get the 'hazy' water.
